WeatherBrains Episode 269 is now online (March 21, 2011). If you are crazy about weather, this is THE netcast audio program for you!

This week’s guest weather brain is Sean Casey, an IMAX filmmaker who produced the Tornado Alley film that is playing around the nation. Sean also built the Tornado Intercept Vehicle (TIV) and the Tornado Intercept Vehicle 2 (TIV2) to film inside a tornado.

Other discussions in this weekly podcast include topics like:

  • Perhaps we found a new host for “picks of the week”!
  • What happens when you make a “pass gas” sound into a talking GPS?
  • What cities in the nation are named after weather?
  • Does J.B. live on a train?
  • and more!
  • Our mail bag has been getting some attention and Kevin puts it in perspective.

    From The Weather Center:
