With a background in software development, you might wonder why we’d invite Michael Wolfinbarger to be our guest WeatherBrain. Well, Michael – or Mike as he prefers – is the founder of RadarScope, an iPhone/iPad app that brings radar data right to your phone. Mike took a job at OU working for the Oklahoma mesonet where he focused on visualization tools. He founded RadarScope which is the 2nd highest grossing weather app for the iPhone and iPad. He enjoys working on GUIs and in computer visualization. He helped to spin off Weather Decision Technologies in Norman, OK.
He is currently collaborating with Tyler Allison to integrate Allison House feeds into RadarScope.
