WeatherBrains 279: Looks Like an Implant

He is an active storm spotter and has trained thousands of spotters across the Midwest in spotter safety. His degrees are in law enforcement and he is a amateur radio operator. He runs the WX-CHASE and WX-TALK discussion boards.

    Brent Macaloney, NWSHTonight’s Guest WeatherBrain is Brent MacAloney. He has a degree in meteorology from Lyndon State in Vermont. He worked as a contractor for National Weather Service Headquarters on the programming of warnings verification and performance statistics. After 5 years, they liked him so much they hired him! He is now involved with the planning, specifications, and training processes. His area of expertise is still with the verification of NWS warnings and oversees the national process of logging severe and unusual weather events process.
