Terri Bennett is our guest tonight. She was on our show on January 15, 2008, Episode 103. We check back in with her to see how things are going. She relaunched her web site in September plus a special unveiling of ‘Do Your Part.’ She discusses the business model she’s following and how she is doing with the whole effort including a recent partnership with the local Charlotte newspaper. She discusses many of the things that she is doing including how she handles getting away for a little time off.
Other discussions in this weekly podcast include topics like:
Our mail bag has been getting a lot of attention and Kevin puts it all in perspective. Listener surveys are always welcome. Past weather information is hard to find. A request for hearing from Tom Wills. See the link below for tropical system and naming when crossing from basin to basin.
From The Weather Center:
WeatherBrains 101: Spikes. You’ve probably seen those pencil thin lines on radar from time to time. But what are they and why do they change. The professor looks into sunrise and sunset spikes and why they are seen on the radar.
TWIWH: Bill Murray looks back at the week of October 28th including a Pacific storm, a mudslide in Mexico, a low pressure off the East Coast “The Perfect Storm,” international storms like the one in Bangladesh, a Vermont flood, and the Signal Corps beginnings of sending weather reports.
Listener Surveys: Okay, we continue to drive this topic into the ground, but we really do like to hear from you. Many thanks to everyone who has taken the time to fill out the Listener Survey. The survey takes just a minute or two to complete and provides us with an opportunity to learn where you are and hear your thoughts and comments on the show. Click here to take the survey.
