Russ Schneider, SPC DirectorTonight’s Guest WeatherBrain has spent his entire career in the National Weather Service. He began at NCEP’s Environmental Modeling Center before becoming the first science and operations officer at the Hydrometeorological Prediction Center. He was the science support branch chief at SPC in Norman, OK, before becoming Director in 2010. He has authored and co-authored numerous articles in professional publications and was an associate editor of the American Meteorological Society Journal “Weather and Forecasting” for more than a decade. We are pleased to welcome Dr. Russ Schneider to WeatherBrains!
