She also worked at KPHO in Phoenix, AZ. She is a WeatherBrains alum, having appeared on show 211 on Feb 8, 2010. Andrea Butera, welcome back to the show!

This episode features an open discussion involving a tiered warning experiment, the question of formatting NWS products without caps, and the question of defining the severe weather threat in simple statistical terms to promote more action. A number of previous guests including John Scala, Lynn Maximuk, and John Gordon will be weighting in on these topics.

Other discussions in this weekly podcast include topics like:

  • National extremes – minus 14 at Caribou, ME, and 73 at Fort Myers, FL

TWIWH: Bill Murray looks back at the week of February 14th.
