WeatherBrains 120: Hurricanes ’08

WeatherBrains Episode 120 is now online (May  13, 2008).  The netcast audio program for people who love weather.

This week the gang visits with Bill Read, Director of the National Hurricane Center (NHC), for a preview of the upcoming season. Bill was most recently the Meteorologist-in-Charge of the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Houston, TX. His career has been diverse including a two-year stint with the Navy Hurricane Hunter unit. Listen in as Bill speaks openly about NHC and the challenges facing hurricane forecasters.
